53rd Scholarship Celebration
Please join us on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the Theatre at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue for our 53rd Scholarship Celebration! Come see the 2012 paricipants as they exhibit the skills and presentations they have been diligently preparing since January. The celebration features traditional Japanese dance, creative expression, and public speaking and presentation components.

2012 Participants to be presented at Seattle Cherry Blossom and Japanese Cultural Festival
As the Japanese Queen Scholarship Organization of Washington enters its 53rd year, the 2012 participants will be presented to the public at the Seattle Cherry Blossom and Japanese Cultural Festival, on Friday, April 13, at the opening ceremony, at Seattle Center Pavilion. The festival runs from Friday, April 13 through Sunday, April 15 at Seattle Center.

2011 Participants featured on Kobe University news column
Following the JQSOW participants' inaugural trip to Japan as a group last month, they were featured on the Kobe University website.
We greatly appreciate the hospitality from the Hyogo Prefecture representatives, the university contacts, and the host families. It was a wonderful 10-day trip and we hope this will become a tradition for future years.full article »
